Slightly small, its Bizen-specific reddish-brown color with hidasuki attracts fans. While not quite a katakuchi (spouted bowl), its slightly deformed shape is eye-catching. It's hard to tell just by looking, but when held, it fits snugly at a 45-degree angle between the index finger and thumb. Was this shape intentionally designed? Or was it just coincidentally deformed in the flame? Either way, I'm impressed by how well its shape conforms to a human finger.
