The yellow sesame seeds on the petals give the plate a soft yellow hue depending on the viewing angle. However, the overall reddish-brown color and substantial presence of the plate evoke the image of a castle wall protecting its rim. I'm excited to see how this "castle wall" transforms into an impenetrable fortress in 10 years.
